The excellent performance of the tempered glass is supported by a chemical structure that’s different from regular glass. The chemical composition and strength of the aluminosilicate glass gives it a unique edge over other materials. The edges of aluminosilicate glass are clear and white while the regular soda-lime glass have green edges.
